About

My journey into the field of psychotherapy has been shaped by years of meditation, yoga, and engagement with holistic approaches to wellbeing. Pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy allowed me to deepen this understanding through psychological lens and diverse therapeutic approaches. Together, these perspectives inform the integrative way I work with clients.

My work is trauma-informed, grounded in respect for safety, individual pacing, and the unique experiences each person brings to therapy.

At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship we build together. I see therapy as a space where you can explore your inner landscape with greater understanding and compassion. I aim to walk alongside you as you navigate this process, supporting you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

Client Reflection

“Before I met him, not only was I in a bad head space mentality, dealing with depression and anxiety. I then was faced with the unexpected and tragic loss of my mother, and I was also dealing with grief from other passed loved ones, including my father and friends. I knew I needed to talk with someone. Sure enough, I met Varun and within two months I had scheduled my first session. I was nervous at first however, I knew I could trust him. Within the first few sessions, I started to notice a shift in my perspective on life. He managed to help me regain my confidence to cope in healthy ways, and start to heal from the hardships and problems in my life. I’ve also learned how to connect to my true self and grow spiritually with meditations I’ve learned through him. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Varun for guiding me on my journey”‍
